In October of 2018, I was lying in bed, nursing my daughter in the dark when I got the idea for my debut novel, Let it Reign. It wasn't the first book idea my ever persistent, pain-in-the-ass, overly-creative muse had ever given me, or the first book I had written, but with the promise of maternity leave, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to FINALLY make my childhood author dreams come true.
