I have been writing my whole life, but in October of 2018, I was lying in bed, nursing my daughter in the dark the idea for my debut novel, Let it Reign came to me. It wasn't the first book idea my ever persistent, pain-in-the-ass, overly-creative muse had ever given me - or the first book I had written, but with the promise of maternity leave, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to FINALLY make my childhood author dreams come true.
